Singapore posted 249 for the loss of 7 wkts on the back of consistent back to back half centuries from Surendran C (80 frm 124) & Tim David (97 off 75 balls). Arjun Mutreja chipped in with a composed 34 before being run out.
Rezza G Captaining in the absence of Skipper Amjad M who had to return to Singapore for a family funeral; marshalled the troops and kept the pressure on Denmark during the defence of 249.
Aryaman U stepped up to take responsibility given that Singapore’s spearhead Amjad M was not available to take the new ball. Aryaman returned figures of 6 for 46 in 9 ovrs removing the opener in his 2nd over and cleaning up the middle and lower order in an impactful spell. He was ably supported by a tactical spell of wicket taking off spin by Navin P who captured 3 for 30 in 10 ovrs. Vinoth B also picked up 1 for 39 in 10 ovrs ensuring Denmark could never come with in striking range.
Singapore won by 36 runs and Tim David was named Man Of The Match for his stroke filled 97 off 75 balls including 9x4s and 3 mammoth 6s.
