This comprehensive selection policy by the Singapore Cricket Association (SCA) outlines the structure, criteria, and procedures for selecting players to represent Singapore in the International Cricket Council (ICC), Asian Cricket Council (ACC), South-East Asian) SEA Games, Asian Games, Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, and National competitions scheduled by Singapore Cricket Association, ensuring fairness, transparency and consistency.
This policy was published on 09/10/2025 to stipulate the selection window for Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games (19 Sept – 4 Oct 2026). The policy will be updated and published to indicate the selection window for future SEA Games, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, Olympic Games, ICC and ACC tournaments.
For multi-sport events such as the Asian Games, SEA Games, Commonwealth Games and Olympic Games, this policy is aligned with the Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC) selection criteria, which shall take precedence.
