National Men’s training booking terms and instructions

By booking a training session you are agreeing to the following terms and you must follow the below instructions.

A maximum of 4 players is allowed in the indoor nets at any given time slot. Players must always train in pairs of 2, 1 pair each for the 2 bowling machine stations. Once you book a time slot, please make sure you don’t cancel on short notice or not turn up for training.

Please make sure you check-in, check-out, and log in your body temperature at the IA entrance. End your session 5 minutes before schedule and ensure the area is kept clean and tidy with all refuse items placed in bins. Only SCA clothing should be worn during training. Also, no drinks and food should be brought into the indoor nets area.

Bowling machine handling rules and safety

  1. Only coaches will handle the machine unless assigned.
  2. Do not force the machine at any time during setting-up and in operation
  3. Switch off when the machine is not in use and the power cord.
  4. Used machine balls, tennis balls only.
  5. Danger- mechanical hazard – read all operating and safety instructions before using the machine. only instructed personnel shall operate this machine
  6. Machine are intend for use by operators who are at least 18 years of age and who have been instructed in their use.
  7. Impact hazard- make sure the path of the ball is clear to the batter before feeding the ball.
  8. Shock hazard- always unplug the machine before changing the fuse.
  9. The machine shall be used and stored in dry locations only.
  10. Pinch point hazard- do not place a hand or other body parts into the area near moving tire (s).
  11. Inspect extension cords and used proper extension cords
  12. Do not abuse the cord
  13. Dress properly- no loose clothes, tie, gloves, ring bracelets, or other jewelry. long hair should be tied up and tucked under hats and helmets.
  14. Always wear safety glasses and batting helmets while the wheels are rotating.
  15. Never touch rotating tires.
  16. Inspect the machine before every use.
  17. Inspect the tires before every use.
  18. Do not use the machine if the on/off switch does not work.
  19. Keep the machine clean, and free of grit and dirt.
  20. To protect the operator, a protective screen must be placed in front of the machine.
  21. Any awkward operations and hand positions where a sudden slip could cause your hand to move into the rotating tires, always make sure you have good footing and balance.
  22. Do not operate this machine under the influence of drugs, alcohol or any medication.
  23. Stay alert and exercise control.
  24. Jugs owner manual is kept inside the stand
